AutoSort Plugin adds the capability to define rules for automatically sorting your channels.conf with every housekeeping thread. For doing so, you have to define some rules in autosort.conf, located in your standard plugin configuration directory (normaly /video/plugins/ ), like this:

FreeTV:HasNoCa:Sort
Premiere:HasProvider=premiere:Sort

whitch results in channels.conf like:

your old channels
:Auto Sort
:FreeTV
ARD...
BR-alpha...
DW-TV...
...
:Premiere
Premiere 1...
Premiere 2...
Premiere 3...
...
:Unsorted
other channels (all other PayTV for this example)

Note: AutoSort will (i hope so) never work before it's start mark (:Auto Sort)
So, to make it work, you'll have either to delete (with auto-pid / autoscan running) the channels you want to become autosorted, or move them manually into :Unsorted section created on first run of AutoSort.

Important:
!!! Backup your channels.conf !!!
before trying any new version of AutoSort
!!! Backup your channels.conf together with autosort.conf !!!
before making heavy changes to autosort.conf.
